I am a Manchester-based artist working from my home studio, where I create textured acrylic paintings on canvas. My practice centres around portraits and scapes, each piece shaped by emotion, movement and atmosphere.
My portrait work is deeply influenced by music and the power it holds. I am particularly drawn to portraying women—capturing not only their physical beauty, but their strength, presence and individuality. Through layered texture and expressive mark-making, I aim to encapsulate empowerment and celebrate feminine energy in its many forms.
Alongside portraiture, my scapes explore mood and environment, translating feeling into form through depth, colour and texture. The tactile quality of acrylic allows me to build surfaces that invite both visual and emotional connection.
Working full time as an artist, painting is more than a profession—it is a vital part of my daily life. It is a tool for grounding and calming my mind, a space where I can process the noise of everyday life and transform it into something meaningful and tangible. Every piece I create carries that sense of intention, reflection and release.
